Town Planner, Town of Orono

The Town of Orono is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Town Planner. This is a highly responsible professional position directing Planning functions of the Town and other work as needed to deliver expected departmental services to stakeholders. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required with the ability to work effectively with both private and public sectors. The ideal applicant is motivated, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has strong strategic thinking, communication, writing, and organizational skills. Planning and Development Director, City of Saco  

Date: 03/18 The Planning and Development Director is responsible for the strategic direction and vision for economic and community development, city planning, and zoning administration. The position directs and supervises the activities of all departmental staff members, and provides technical support to other City departments. This position is responsible for business attraction, retention, and expansion programs; and manages business development tools, such as our Tax Increment Financing.
