Regional Planner, Hancock County Planning Commission

Regional planning commission on the scenic coast of Maine seeks planner to work on projects such as brownfields, preparing for sea level rise and climate change, grant writing, transportation, GIS, and land use ordinance development. Must be available for evening meetings. The ideal candidate will have: knowledge of community planning; strong verbal and writing ability; experience using Microsoft products; and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with funding agencies, public officials, other employees, and the general public. Bachelor’s Degree in Community Planning or related field preferred, plus a minimum of two years professional planning experience. Additional information on the agency is available at: www.hcpcme.org.
